| We are now representing VERDAD REALIDAD, Southern California’s hottest new group, Rocking en Español. According to Time Warner Latina, they are the ONLY group of white guys in the U.S. playing solid rock & roll in Spanish, to have a demo on the desk of a major Latin label
Verdad Realidad is led by Bruce Taylor, a native of Santa Barbara, California, who had an epiphany in the local mountains and began writing music in Spanish. Bruce, who has perfomed in Manzanillo, Mexico, recently accepted an invitation to rehearse and perform with the Chilean Rock Group ALAMEDAS for a live concert in downtown Santiago at the Festival Norte. The band accompanied him for one of Verdad Realidad’s songs, then invited him to sit in as a guest singer on Alamedas’ title track, Precipicio. Bruce Taylor is joined by Eric Barnett, former lead guitarist of IRON BUTTERFLY (In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida). Eric lends his considerable talent, experience and passion to the incredible sounds of Verdad Realidad. Eric was recently featured on VH1's Best Rock Songs of All Time as the lead guitarist of Iron Butterly in a concert at Itchycoo Park (Tennessee) in 1999. Verdad Realidad’s lyrics are primarily in Spanish, yet sprinkled with English. Los Federales en la Calle, Roc-n-Rol on the Patio , and their new single, Pura Vida, showcase their Rock & Roll in Spanish, while their versatility comes forth with ballads like Bote de Aire and Solo Todo and the reggae-style of Antes Cortés. We believe that the solid sounds of Verdad Realidad are standing in the same room as the best Rock & Roll en Español coming out of Mexico, Central and South America.
